Language
The Pinecast dashboard does its best to handle multilingual content, and we translate our UI into a number of languages.
The language of your content
Changing the language setting on a podcast informs directories and listeners which language to expect from a show. If you use Pinecast's transcription feature, the language set on your podcast may affect which transcription model transcribes the audio.
You can change the language specified for your podcast by visiting the Settings page for the podcast in your dashboard. On the Podcast Overview tab, you'll be able to choose a language.
If the language of your podcast is not a choice, please get in touch so we can help.
The language of the Pinecast interface
We prefer the language that your browser indicates you speak when choosing which language to show our UI in, falling back on English. You can override this by visiting the Settings page for your account and changing the language dropdown. Be sure to save for the language to be loaded.
Other languages
While we do our best to show, for instance, Spanish text on UIs relevant to Spanish-language podcasts, your listeners may express their own choice of language. In some cases, like when handling money, it makes more sense for us to show a different language.
